Customs and documents

Czechia belongs to the EU single market — customs declaration and import duties do not apply. A commercial invoice, delivery note and CMR consignment note are sufficient. The recipient's Czech VAT number is required for the zero-rated intra-Community supply.

Route and transit time

Short distances from Bavaria and Saxony: Prague is reachable in one to two business days, the rest of the country in two to three. Tolls are levied through the electronic MYTO CZ system and included in the freight price. The industrial regions around Plzeň, Brno and Ostrava have regular connections without a remote-area surcharge.

Czechia is a significant automotive location, so the volume of just-in-time consignments is high.
