Adhesive tape never belongs directly on the paint: it lifts clear coat when removed, especially after several days in a warm trailer. Wrap the bonnet completely in foam or bubble wrap first, then secure it. A mid-range car bonnet measures roughly 130 × 80 cm at 8 to 15 kg and fits a euro pallet; SUV bonnets need industrial dimensions.
