How do I protect a painted bonnet from scratches?
Painted body parts must be completely covered with protective film or foam. No adhesive tape directly on painted surfaces. Stand bonnets upright in cardboard – lying increases the risk.
Can wings, doors and bumpers also be sent together in one shipment?
Yes, multiple body parts can be combined into one shipment. Important: never stack parts on top of each other without sufficient padding. Specify weight and dimensions of the total shipment.
How do I package a bonnet without original packaging?
Use large cardboard (or two glued-together pieces). Pad inside with foam or newspaper. Wrap bonnet in bubble wrap. Send stably and tightly closed.
Are unpainted (primed) body parts also possible?
Yes, primed or unpainted body parts can be shipped in the same way. Primer is less sensitive – still protect against scratches with foam or film.
How large is a typical bonnet and what pallet dimensions are needed?
Bonnets for mid-range cars: approx. 130 × 80 cm, 8–15 kg. For SUVs up to 150 × 100 cm. One euro pallet (120 × 80 cm) fits most car bonnets – oversizes on industrial pallet.
