How is my bicycle insured?

As standard your bicycle is insured up to €1,500. For high-value bikes we offer extended insurance cover up to €10,000.

What to consider when shipping bicycles

Dimensions: An average bicycle measures approx. 180 x 80 x 70 cm (in the box). E-bikes are heavier (20-30 kg with battery). Recumbent and cargo bikes require special enquiries.
Battery for e-bikes: Lithium-ion batteries are subject to hazardous goods regulations (IATA/ADR). Depending on capacity, certain shipping methods are not permitted or require special labelling.
Insurance: Bicycles, especially high-value e-bikes, should be additionally insured for transport. NexCargo partners offer transport insurance.
